Ingredients

1 pound frozen meatballs (beef, turkey, or plant-based)

2 cups marinara sauce

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

2 cups cooked pasta (spaghetti, penne, or rotini)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Slow Cooker: Start by spraying the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray for easier cleanup.

Mix Sauces: In a large bowl, combine the marinara sauce and BBQ sauce. Stir well until both sauces are fully blended.

Layer Ingredients: Place the frozen meatballs at the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the combined sauce mixture over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.

Add Aromatics: Sprinkle the diced onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the sauce and meatballs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Slow Cook: Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The meatballs should be heated through and flavors melded together.

Cook the Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, cook your chosen pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine & Finish: Once the meatballs are cooked, gently fold in the cooked pasta to the slow cooker, mixing everything together. If desired, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for about 10 minutes.

Garnish & Serve: Before serving, give it a final stir and garnish with freshly chopped parsley or basil. Enjoy your Smoky Slow Cooker BBQ Meatball Pasta hot and full of flavor!
