One-Pan Creamy Garlic Chicken and Broccoli

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients: Begin by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and seasoning them with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet or pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they're golden brown and cooked thoroughly. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

      Cook the Broccoli: In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Toss in the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they’re bright green and slightly tender. Remove the broccoli and set aside with the chicken.

        Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same pan, lower the heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze it. Let it simmer for a minute.

          Add Cream and Cheese: Slowly stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper as needed.

            Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken and broccoli to the pan, stirring to coat them in the creamy garlic sauce. Allow everything to simmer together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
