1 pound ground turkey sausage

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (buttermilk preferred)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color)

3 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.

    Prepare the Dough: Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit with your hands or a rolling pin into about a 3-inch circle. Gently press the biscuits into the cups of the muffin tin, ensuring they cover the bottom and sides.

      Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey sausage. Break it apart with a wooden spoon and cook for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and browned. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for an additional 3-4 minutes until softened.

        Mix the Filling: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Once the sausage and veggies have cooked, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

          Assemble the Cups: Spoon the turkey sausage mixture evenly into each biscuit-lined muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full. Then pour the egg mixture over the top of each cup, filling to the brim.

            Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the egg is set and the biscuit edges are golden brown.

              Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes. Use a butter knife to gently loosen the biscuit cups from the tin. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
