1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite flavor)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sliced pickles (optional)

Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a medium saucepan, add the chicken breasts, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cover the chicken with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

    Shred the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the pot and let it cool slightly. Once cool enough to handle, shred the chicken using two forks or a stand mixer.

      Mix with BBQ Sauce: In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce. Stir until all the chicken is evenly coated.

        Prepare the Biscuits: While the chicken is cooling, open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Roll each biscuit out slightly to flatten.

          Assemble the Sliders: Place a spoonful of the BBQ chicken mixture on half of the biscuits. Top each with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese, and if desired, add a slice or two of pickles. Take the other half of the biscuits and place them on top to form sliders.

            Bake the Sliders: Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
