Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)

1 tablespoon ketchup (optional)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Make the Burger Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it's browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat. Season the beef with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare Crescent Rolls: Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough on a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles. You will typically get 8 triangles from 1 can.

Assemble Pockets: Place a spoonful of the ground beef mixture in the center of each triangle. Top the beef with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese. If desired, add a small dollop of Dijon mustard and ketchup.

Seal the Pockets: Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket. Press the edges firmly together to seal, making sure the filling is entirely enclosed.

Air Fry: Lightly spray the pockets with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer in a single layer, leaving space between each pocket. Air fry at 370°F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the cheeseburger pockets from the air fryer. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley for garnish. Serve warm with extra ketchup or mustard on the side.
