Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups egg noodles, uncooked

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 cup beef broth

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, corn, carrots)

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Sauté Aromatics: Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes (with juiced), beef broth, frozen mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Add Noodles: Fold in the uncooked egg noodles, ensuring they are well-distributed in the beef mixture.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly and smooth the top.

Cheese Layer: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture. (If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs for added crunch.)

Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Let the casserole cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving to help it set. Enjoy hot!
