Green Chili Beef & Cheese Sliders

Ingredients
  

1 pound ground beef

1 cup diced green chilies (canned or fresh)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 small slider buns (preferably brioche)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, lettuce, diced tomatoes, or avocado

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare the beef mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, diced green chilies, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

      Form the sliders: Take a small portion of the beef mixture (about 2 ounces) and shape it into a slider patty. Repeat until you have 12 patties.

        Cook the patties: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the slider patties in batches (don’t overcrowd the pan) and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned. Transfer cooked patties to a plate.

          Assemble the sliders: On the bottom half of each slider bun, place a patty. Add any optional toppings you desire (like jalapeños or lettuce) before closing with the top half of the bun.

            Bake the sliders: Place assembled sliders on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the buns are golden and slightly crispy.

              Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them as is!
