Golden Chicken Broccoli Divan Bake

2 cups cooked chicken, diced

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. If using frozen, microwave until thawed and warm.

      Mix the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended.

        Combine Ingredients: Add the diced chicken, cooked rice, and steamed broccoli to the bowl with the sauce. Gently fold everything together until evenly coated.

          Assemble the Bake: In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the chicken-broccoli mixture evenly across the bottom.

            Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the mixture.
