To create a delicious and creamy yogurt base for your Fruity Frozen Yogurt Breakfast Bark, start by selecting your yogurt. Greek yogurt is a popular choice for its thick texture and higher protein content, but you can also opt for regular yogurt or any flavored varieties if you wish to enhance the taste. If you choose flavored yogurt, be mindful that it will influence the overall sweetness and flavor profile of your bark.

Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (or your favorite flavored yogurt)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

1 ripe banana, sliced

1/2 cup granola (your choice of flavor)

2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional, for added nutrition)

1/4 cup nuts or seeds (almonds, walnuts, or sunflower seeds), roughly chopped

A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey or maple syrup (if using). Stir well until it's smooth and evenly mixed.

Line Your Baking Sheet: Take a parchment-lined baking sheet (about 9x13 inch) and pour the yogurt mixture onto it. Use a spatula to spread it out into an even layer, about 1/2-inch thick.

Add Toppings: Evenly distribute the mixed berries, sliced banana, granola, chia seeds, and chopped nuts over the yogurt layer. Lightly press them down into the yogurt to ensure they stick when frozen.

Sprinkle with Cinnamon: If you’re using cinnamon, sprinkle a pinch over the top of the bark for extra flavor.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and let it freeze for 4-6 hours or until completely firm.

Cut into Pieces: Once frozen, remove the bark from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes for easier cutting. Use a sharp knife or break it into pieces with your hands.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately or store any leftover bark in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
