Frozen Vanilla Yogurt Oatmeal Squares

Ingredients
  

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla flavored)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries (such as blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (like almonds or walnuts, optional)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Baking Dish: Line an 8x8 inch (or similar size) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.

    Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth and fully combined.

      Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats and cinnamon (if using).

        Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Add the dry oat mixture to the wet mixture and stir until everything is well incorporated.

          Add the Mix-ins: Gently fold in the berries and chopped nuts (if using).

            Spread the Mixture: Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to evenly spread and press down the mixture to ensure it’s compact.

              Freeze the Squares: Place the baking dish in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
