1 pound ground beef

4 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade)

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup French fried onions (optional, for topping)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

      Season: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir to combine.

        Mix in Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets for about 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. If using frozen, you can add them directly to the skillet. Stir the broccoli into the beef mixture.

          Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well. Then, add the beef and broccoli mixture to the bowl. Stir until everything is fully incorporated.

            Add Cheese: Fold in 1 and 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture, saving the remaining cheese for topping.

              Transfer to Casserole Dish: Spray a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray or grease it lightly. Pour the beef and broccoli mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.

                Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top of the casserole mixture. If you’re using French fried onions, sprinkle them on top of the cheese for an additional layer of crunch.
