Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

½ cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup green onions, chopped (optional)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and form a creamy filling.

Roll Out the Crescents: Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on a clean surface. Be careful not to tear the dough.

Fill the Crescents: Take a spoonful of the chicken filling and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, folding in the sides as you go to encase the filling. Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet.

Add Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the crescents with the beaten egg to give them a golden, shiny finish as they bake.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are puffed up and golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the crescents from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or main dish. Enjoy with extra ranch dressing for dipping if you like!
