2 cups cooked shredded chicken (use rotisserie for ease)

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon taco seasoning

1 package (10-12 count) small flour tortillas or corn tortillas

Olive oil spray or cooking spray

Salsa and sour cream for dipping

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shredded cheese, cream cheese, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, and taco seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

    Assemble the Taquitos: Take one tortilla and place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture along one edge. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling, tucking the ends in as you go. If using corn tortillas, consider lightly warming them beforehand to make them pliable.

      Secure the Taquitos: Place the rolled taquitos seam-side down on a plate or cutting board. Repeat this process until all tortillas and filling are used.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

          Air Fry the Taquitos: Lightly spray the taquitos with olive oil spray to help them crisp up. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring there is space between each one for optimal frying. You may need to work in batches. Cook them for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

            Serve: Once cooked, remove the taquitos from the air fryer and serve them hot with salsa and sour cream on the side for dipping.
